CONFERENCE "Oncologist meets gastroenterologist - clinical issues": RECORDINGS ONLINE The conference “Oncologist meets gastroenterologist - clinical issues” was organized by ESDO in partnership with the Intestinal Section of the Polish Society of Gastroenterology and was generously supported by UEG. It took place in August 2014 in Gdansk, Poland as a continuation of the biannual traditional Central European Gastroenterology Meeting (CEURGEM) gathering gastroenterologists since 2000. The meeting delivered relevant updates for both, gastroenterologists interested in oncology and oncologists interested in gastroenterology - all lectures were recorded and are now available online.   FINAL CALL: APPLY FOR THE ESDO TRAINEE FELLOWSHIPS 2015 BY DEC 20, 2014 LATEST For the second consecutive year, ESDO offers five (5) Trainee Fellowhips in 2015 to support trainees in Digestive Oncology to spend at least 2 weeks at an ESDO certified training centre. The fellowships create the unique chance for young gastroenterologists, medical oncologists, general surgeons (GI focus) and radiation oncologists to expand their experience in the interdisciplinary treatment of GI cancer in an excellent setting with all specialties established (surgery, medical oncology, gastroenterology, pathology, radiology, radiation therapy). The fellowships are competitive and applicants require support from the head of their own department.
