it & tel creates high-performance networks for classic Internet connections, maintains equipment and provides the infrastructure for network use. The security and perfect environmental conditions of the company servers or server families have the highest priority there. This ranges from access control to emergency power supply.

ISO 27001 Certification

ISO 27001 stands for the globally recognized IT security standard 27001 and aims to establish a management system for IT security, a so-called Information Security Management System (ISMS). It & tel’s data center is ISO 27001 certified and thus guarantees this IT security standard.

Connection of the KundenMeister infrastructure

The connection of the server to the international networks is the main decision-making factor for web hosting. We don’t need to hide our connection. It is currently made with a max. 1000 Mbit / sec line to the VIX to enable an ideal connection to Austrian networks, with max. 100 Mbit / sec. The connection to the international network is constantly being adapted.

Reliability and availability

We have a fail-over server with identical equipment and online mirroring of the hard drive. In order to shorten any downtimes, important services for websites and applications are monitored if necessary. Failures can then be forwarded directly to the support team and the on-site technician via SMS. Thanks to continuous monitoring of the services and automatic SMS notification, we react within a few minutes in the event of a failure. In the case of serious hardware problems that cannot be remotely remedied and require a trip to the data center, the maximum time for starting the troubleshooting is 4 hours. We guarantee an availability of 99.9% with the exception of previously announced maintenance work.

Support

We differentiate between first, second and third level support. The telephone first level support is available from Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., as well as from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our support team then coordinates the second and third level support. We offer second and third level 24×7 support by email using the email address support@kundenmeister.com. Internally, we use the KundenMeister as a support tracking system for easy traceability of any problems and customer requirements

Data backup

All systems are backed up daily by an automated backup system.

The backup strategy consists of:

  • weekly full backup
  • daily incremental backup
  • Retention time full backup 6 weeks, incremental backup 7 days

Data is backed up via a dedicated LAN segment in the data center on a so-called disk-to-disk level. This procedure enables data to be recovered quickly. The data backup includes user data from the customer as well as system data and configurations. Wherever possible, so-called dumps are made in the database system to ensure data integrity. For security reasons, the backup systems are not accessible to the customer and can only be operated by our authorized staff. We secure this access for employees using VPN and SSH. Any data restores will usually take place without offsetting, even if the customer is at fault (fair use).
